MISSION STATEMENT:
100% of West St. John High students will be accepted into college and/or prepared for a technical career. 
 
VISION STATEMENT:
West St. John High will provide an exemplary school environment working "As One" to achieve high academic standards. 
Donation

Co-owner and Founder of the Descendants Project, Jo Banner and member Stephanie Aubert served as special guests at the WSJH Gymnasium Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. During halftime of the Boy’s Basketball game, they presented WSJH with two sizeable donations. Donations included $45,000.00 dollars for the Film Study and Documentary Club (COOL Club) and $5,000.00 dollars for school initiatives. We are eternally grateful for their donation. Our newest partner in education comes with excitement as we continue our innovative curriculum offerings.

About Us

Located in Edgard, West St. John High School educates nearly 200 students from 8th through 12th grade. Our school currently boasts a School Performance Grade of "B" and our graduation rate is above 90 percent. Our school is recognized by Newsweek magazine. Additionally, our school has been recognized by "GreatSchools.org" and "Council for A Better Louisiana".  Our school offers both dual enrollment and advanced placement courses to provide students with a head start on their post-secondary education. Students may also pursue career pathways in ProStart, hospitality, tourism, culinary and retail, and business management.
