I hope this message finds you and your family well. The Covid-19 quarantine is in effect across the United States. Our plan is to support students and our community during this unprecedented time.
Gov. Edwards has declared that all K-12 public schools in the state of Louisiana remain closed Monday, March 13, through Monday, April 13. This applies to students and staff. This also includes the cancellation of all gatherings, practices and rehearsals. Below is information about home internet access.
- INTERNET ACCESS: Charter Communications is offering free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a subscription. Additionally, limited income households can apply for $5 to $10 per month Internet access through AT&T Access, Cox Connect2Compete and CenturyLink Lifeline.
Teachers Are Working From Home:
ATTENTION PARENTS!! In effort to assist students,Teachers are updating their website to make sure students have instructional resources needed to learn outside of the classroom. Use the individual teacher websites to access learning opportunities. It is not mandated that students print any of the learning opportunities material.
